Buffalo Bills’ pass rush looks great to start the season

The Buffalo Bills added a number of free agents to the defensive line in hopes that they could improve a pass rush that was inconsistent last year. The early returns were great as the Bills’ defensive line looked to overpower the Rams’ offensive line and were getting pressure on Matthew Stafford.

It started early with a Von Miller sack of his former teammate on the opening drive. In total the Bills had seven sacks with six players contributing with at least half of a sack. The most important point from this performance was their ability to get this level of pressure with just their front four and didn’t need to bring extra blitzers.

The Bills are going to continue to need this kind of production to help the secondary until Tre’Davious White returns. However, they should feel very good about how this defensive line looks already at this point of the season.
