4 keys to victory for the Buffalo Bills against the LA Rams

Find a way to contain Allen Robinson and Cooper Kupp despite the absence of Tre’Davious White
The Rams did a great job last year of scheming Cooper Kupp open. They moved him around and lined him up all over the field to give him advantageous matchups, usually against linebackers or slot corners.
With their 4-2-5 defense, the Bills deploy three corners as their base personnel, so they should be able to prevent Kupp from matching up against linebackers. Taron Johnson will cover Kupp in the slot, and he is one of the best slot corners in the league. But Kupp is as tough a matchup as any.
On the outside, things may not be any easier. With Tre’Davious White on the PUP list, the Bills will be counting on Dane Jackson and rookies Kaiir Elam and Christian Benford to slow down Allen Robinson and Van Jefferson. However, it looks more and more unlikely that Jefferson will play after missing practice Monday and Tuesday.
Benford and Elam looked ready for the task in their brief preseason action against the Colts, Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce, but playing four quarters against the Rams presents a new challenge. If they are up to the task, the Bills should at least be able to slow down the Rams’ passing attack.
