Unleash Gabriel Davis deep down the field

Jalen Ramsey remains one of the best coverage corners in the league, and there’s a chance he will hold Stefon Diggs in check on Thursday night. However, on the other side of the field, the Rams are set to start David Long Jr. In his 382 coverage snaps a year ago, Long surrendered a 92.7 passer rating when targeted and allowed over 14 yards per reception.

The last time we saw the Bills take the field, the Kansas City Chiefs made shutting down Stefon Diggs a key component of their game plan. In return, it opened up the field for Davis to go off for four touchdowns and set an NFL record.

Davis should be able to consistently win reps in his matchup with Long. Over the top, Nick Scott is a question mark and potentially a liability at free safety for the Rams. The Bills should be able to scheme Davis open deep down the field and hit him for explosive plays.
