Buffalo Bills force two interceptions

The Buffalo Bills are inexperienced on the outside at cornerback and Matthew Stafford will likely challenge them with wide receivers like Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson. The best way for Buffalo to help their cornerbacks is with a steady pass rush to limit time in the pocket for Matthew Stafford.

If the Bills can put pressure on Stafford, it could force him into some poor decisions that the defense could capitalize on. Last year, the Buffalo Bills finished third in the league in forcing interceptions with 19 total. Meanwhile, Matthew Stafford led the league in interceptions by throwing 17 and finished the regular season with three straight games with multiple interceptions in each game.

The Buffalo Bills’ cornerbacks are likely going to be overmatched by Kupp and Robinson but if the defensive line pressures Stafford and forces him to throw off balance or quicker than he would like, the defense should force multiple interceptions.
