The Bills scored 42 points in a preseason game. There wasn’t a pick-six, a fumble returned for a touchdown, or a special team’s house call. The Bills simply outcoached and outexecuted the opponent with its offense. Credit to Ken Dorsey.

As the first-year offensive coordinator for the Bills, Ken Dorsey will be under the microscope throughout the season. If the offense does not look sharp, Ken Dorsey will get the blame. If the offense doesn’t score 30, Bills fans may begin calling for Dorsey’s job.

However, Saturday’s offensive performance should give Bills Mafia all the confidence in the world in their young play-caller. All three quarterbacks combined were 26 of 29 passing, for 302 yards, and two touchdowns and the offense wasn’t forced to punt until late in the second half. That’s a welcomed stat line from the position.

Although it’s only preseason, this Bills team looks to be in mid-season form. The offense thrived in just about every situation and the offensive coordinator called a masterful game. What’s most impressive about this team is that in any given contest, a different player has the potential to shine. But on this day, these four members of the team helped the offense light up the scoreboard.
