7 quick thoughts from the Buffalo Bills preseason win over the Broncos
In the first preseason game, the Buffalo Bills needed a last-second field goal against the Indianapolis Colts to continue their preseason win streak. However, this week against the Denver Broncos, it looked to be over early and looked more like the “perfect game” in the AFC Wild Card Round against the New England Patriots.
The Bills would score touchdowns on their first six drives and go on to cruise to a 42-15 victory to extend the preseason win streak to 10 games. These are seven quick thoughts from the Buffalo Bills dominant preseason victory.

Josh Allen looks great in limited action
The Buffalo Bills elected to have almost all their starters begin the game against the Denver Broncos, which included Josh Allen. This certainly was a risk as Allen is the most important player on the Bills and it didn’t seem to make sense to open him up to potential injuries in a meaningless preseason game.
The good news was that Josh Allen not only got out of the game without taking a hit but looked to be in midseason form with three completions on three pass attempts for 45 yards, including a 28-yard touchdown pass to Gabe Davis.
The coaching staff hopefully saw enough from their starters in this game and they should be confident in them being ready to start the season.
