Tre’Davious White (Nick McCloud), Taron Johnson, Dane Jackson, Kaiir Elam, Siran Neal, Christian Benford

The cornerback position is going to be one that is in flux but the confidence in this group should be higher after the first preseason game. The reason there are questions is around their star cornerback Tre’Davious White, who still remains on the PUP list.

If White is not able to play, then Nick McCloud would be the player who likely gets his spot on the 53-man roster. However, in Week 1 against the Rams the Bills would look to some combination of Kaiir Elam, Dane Jackson, and Christian Benford as their starting cornerbacks.

In the preseason opener, it was Elam and Benford that got the start and both players did a good job but I would say Benford had a better game. There are still times that Elam can grab too much and that occurred in the first half when Elam was called for a pass interference penalty.
