Zack Moss

Zack Moss was a player that seemed to be on the roster bubble entering training camp. He was coming off a down year where by the end of the season he was almost a non-factor in the offense and Devin Singletary was exclusively getting all the work at running back.

However, his struggles appear to be tied to the ankle injury he suffered in the playoffs in 2020 against the Colts. This training camp, the former third round pick has reportedly run very well and the first preseason game could be a great chance for him to show that he can flash the potential that he showed his rookie season.

Shortly after the Buffalo Bills drafted Moss, he said he wanted to force defenders to make “business decisions” on the field.

This physicality is something that could be missing in the backfield with only Devin Singletary and James Cook. Moss has the potential to fill a role as the short-yardage and goal line back and it will be interesting if he shows this off in the first preseason game.
