Offensive line updates

The Buffalo Bills’ interior offensive line has been tested with all the injuries and the team had Cody Ford and Bobby Hart as their starting guards to open practice, according to Thad Brown. This is definitely not what the team envisioned prior to training camp with the expected starters to be Rodger Saffold and Ryan Bates.

The good news is that none seem to be long-term injuries and in fact, Rodger Saffold could be close to returning. Matt Parrino with syracuse.com tweeted a video of Saffold getting some work in off to the side.

The Buffalo Bills have also been without Spencer Brown during team drills as he tries to return from a back procedure this offseason. According to WGR550’s Sal Capaccio, he has been doing individual drills and that is a good sign so he may also be close to returning.
