Madden 23 Ratings: 81 overall

The Buffalo Bills first round pick from 2019 has seemingly been overlooked every year in the league. This is just another example as Oliver has an overall Madden 23 ratings of only 81, which is tied for 14th among defensive tackles.

Oliver is surprisingly behind players like Tyson Alualu who has seemingly been a part-time player with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Last season, Alualu only played in two games after suffering a season-ending ankle injury.

The people putting together the ratings did at least recognize how Oliver has elite speed and athleticism for the position. He is tied for first among defensive tackles in speed rating (83), acceleration (87), and agility (85).

However, even with all the athleticism, they give Oliver a low rating in Finesse Moves that doesn’t even rank in the Top 10. He is one player where the individual ratings don’t seem to align with what he brings to the position and should also see his rating increase this year.
