Brandon Beane talks about pending free agents

The Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane was on WGR550 this morning and discussed the pending free agents and how the team might approach it. The Bills have a number of players set to be free agents after this season like Edmunds, Jordan Poyer, Dawson Knox, and Devin Singletary to name a few.

While the Bills would want all of them back, Beane noted the reality of it that they are up against a salary cap and it is unlikely they would be able to bring back all of them, according to Sal Capaccio.

Brandon Beane also said that they will have to make some moves prior to Week 1 to be cap compliant. They will have plenty of options to do so from trading or cutting players that could create cap space but they could also look to try and extend some of these players.

This has typically been the time of the year that the team has tried to get some of these deals done. The next few weeks could be very telling for some of these players and the direction the team may go.
