AFC Predictions and where the Buffalo Bills might finish the 2022 season

AFC Predictions: AFC North

1st: Cincinnati Bengals

2nd: Baltimore Ravens

3rd: Cleveland Browns

4th: Pittsburgh Steelers

The AFC North is expected to be one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL this season with the Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, and Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bengals made an impressive run in the playoffs last year that culminated in the Super Bowl, where they came up short to the Los Angeles Rams.

Their biggest issue was the offensive line and they added Ted Karras, Alex Cappa, and La’el Collins this offseason which should give Joe Burrow more time in the pocket and the chance to continue to build on an excellent season last year.

For the Baltimore Ravens, their biggest issue last year was not necessarily talent but it was just keeping players healthy. They lost J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards, and Marcus Peters before the season even started and then saw players like Lamar Jackson miss multiple games during the season.

They should be getting all those players back this year and added rookies during the NFL Draft like Kyle Hamilton and Tyler Lindenbaum which should give Baltimore a great chance to improve on last year.

As for the Cleveland Browns, they are probably the team with the most uncertainty as it remains to be seen how much Deshaun Watson will play this season. He is currently facing a potential suspension from the league but it remains to be seen how long it will be. In this division, any time missed by their starting quarterback can be the difference between competing for a division title to down to third place, which is where I see the Browns finishing.

Finally, there are the Pittsburgh Steelers and while it is hard to count out a team led by Mike Tomlin, they have too many questions in a tough division that it is hard to put them anywhere but last in these AFC predictions.
