Devin Bush

The athletic profile of Devin Bush would seem like he is a perfect fit for the Buffalo Bills and what they are looking for from their linebackers. He is a smaller linebacker at 5’11” and 234 pounds but has great athleticism and quickness as seen by his Relative Athletic Score (RAS) of 9.33 coming out of college.

Devin Bush would be drafted in the first round by the Pittsburgh Steelers and have a very promising rookie season with 109 total tackles, two interceptions, four passes defended, and four fumble recoveries.

However, he would suffer a torn ACL in his second season and this past season struggled to make the same impact. The Steelers declined to pick up his fifth-year option this offseason and he will now enter the final year of his contract with the Steelers.

If Devin Bush can bounce back this season and return to the level he played at during his rookie season, he is a player that could be a great fit at middle linebacker in this defense.
