Shaq Lawson

Shaq Lawson returned to the team this offseason that drafted him in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He spent the first four years of his career with the Bills and was primarily a role player on this defense during his first time in Buffalo and had 16.5 sacks.

The Buffalo Bills brought back Lawson this offseason on a one-year deal and he is expected to be a key part of the rotation at defensive end alongside Von Miller, Greg Rousseau, Boogie Basham, and A.J. Epenesa.

This is a position that the coaching staff likes to rotate almost evenly between four or five players during the course of the game. Lawson should end the season with around 35-45% of the defensive snaps due to the fact that alongside Greg Rousseau, he may be the best defensive end against the run on the roster.

He should have a chance to show that he can contribute and possibly get a contract extension after the season.
