In 2013, the Rams had two first round picks and the Buffalo Bills recently signed one of them when they agreed to a one-year deal with wide receiver Tavon Austin. However, it might make sense to sign the other one, which was Alec Ogletree who was selected 30th overall.
Ogletree became a starter his rookie season for the Rams and would remain a starter for all five seasons with the team. He would play two seasons with the Giants, one with the Jets, and recently started 16 games for the Chicago Bears last season.
If the Bills were to add Ogletree, he would almost exclusively be a backup middle linebacker as he doesn’t bring much position flexibility. In addition, he also doesn’t have much special teams experience.
