Buffalo Bills Bold Prediction #3: Josh Allen leads the league in passing touchdowns

For the past two years, the Buffalo Bills have had one of the top passing offenses in the NFL due to the development of Josh Allen and the fact that the Bills lean heavily on the passing game.

This year, even with a new offensive coordinator and Bills potentially committing a little more to the run and Devin Singletary, it shouldn’t change the game plan that much for this offense.

In 2020, Allen threw 37 passing touchdowns and then 36 this past season. One of the reasons that Josh Allen will not only surpass that total but lead the league is that he has the best supporting cast of players around him in his career.

This offseason the Buffalo Bills added Jamison Crowder to replace Cole Beasley in the slot, brought back Isaiah McKenzie, and signed former first round pick O.J. Howard but the biggest difference could be James Cook.

A player like James Cook out of the backfield can create mismatches and force defenses to defend even more of the field in passing situations. This will be a dynamic passing offense and Josh Allen will have the talent around him to lead the league in touchdowns.
