In the sixth round the Buffalo Bills drafted offensive lineman Luke Tenuta out of Virginia Tech. He looks to be a player that will need time to develop and could work his way into being a backup swing tackle for this offensive line.

However, the Bills seemed to already have that with Tommy Doyle and this is a pick that could have been better used on a player like Quentin Lake out of UCLA who was drafted two picks later by the Los Angeles Rams.

For the past five years, the Bills have had the same starting safeties with Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde. However, both players are getting older and with Poyer entering his final year they could be making some changes at the position.

Quentin Lake would appear to be a perfect fit and what the Bills look for at the position. He is versatile in that he is a solid tackler that can play near the line of scrimmage as well as drop back into coverage and plays the ball well with four interceptions and 15 passes defended in his final 15 games over the past two years.
