Buffalo Bills Draft Target: Trey McBride
The best tight end in this year’s draft class is Trey McBride, who spent four years at Colorado State. In 2019, he would have 45 receptions, 560 receiving yards, and four receiving touchdowns in 12 games.
Then in 2020, he would play in only four games due to a shortened season as a result of the pandemic. However, those four games were just a glimpse into what he could do as he had 22 receptions, 330 receiving yards, and four touchdowns.
He continued that strong play into last season and had 90 receptions and 1,121 receiving yards but didn’t find the end zone as much with only one touchdown.
While the receiving stats jump out, he is a player that doesn’t look past the other key part of playing tight end, which is the blocking. He had this to say at the NFL Combine and shows his mindset on how he approaches that part of his game.

The Bills reportedly held a private workout with Trey McBride and certainly, he has the potential to become a top-tier tight end in the NFL and eventually replace Dawson Knox if he were to leave in free agency.
