3. Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals certainly shocked the league with an improbable run to the Super Bowl that started by holding on to a victory over the Las Vegas Raiders before securing road wins over the Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs.

Joe Burrow showed exactly why the Bengals selected him first overall in 2020 and made sure to add his former college teammate Ja’Marr Chase in the first round the following year. Those two look like they are set to be a dynamic duo that will cause problems in this league for years to come.

The biggest questions were on the offensive line and if they could protect Burrow. They went out and added Ted Karras, Alex Cappa, and La’el Collins which should drastically help improve this group. Another question is whether the defense is truly as good as it showed in the playoffs as Trey Henderickson led the way with 3.5 sacks in four games.

The Bengals could just be a team that got hot at the right time and rode that to the Super Bowl or their run was the start of something special. For now, they will be ranked third but it is hard to imagine they remain here, with the possibility of heading in either direction.
