2. Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers didn’t even make the playoffs last year but this is a team that seemed to make all the right moves this offseason. In a conference with quarterbacks like Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, and Joe Burrow, the Chargers made big moves on defense by trading for pass rush specialist Khalil Mack and signing cornerback J.C. Jackson, arguably the best available free agent at his position.

The Chargers also notably have a quarterback of their own that is in the discussion with the other quarterbacks mentioned previously in Justin Herbert. The former first round pick took a step forward last year but looks like he is only scratching the surface of his potential.

Last year, the Chargers finished 9-8 but in five of those losses, they lost by a touchdown or less. The moves they made easily could turn some of those losses into wins and the Chargers are one of the top teams in the AFC.
