Buffalo Bills focus on offense early in the latest 7-round mock draft
We are halfway between the NFL free agency and the NFL Draft. The Combine has passed, as have most prospects’ Pro Days. Teams are now starting to bring in players for the 30 visits they can host. The Buffalo Bills have started off slow with only a few Top 30 visits reported with Isaiah Spiller the most notable prospect.
Many of these visits are often reported after they occur, meaning Buffalo could have already met with more players. These visits do not always indicate teams’ draft strategy or actual picks. Still, it gives you an idea of the positions/player types they may be interested in.
With athlete testing essentially over, rumors about actual draft day start heating up. The Bills were involved in one this past week when it was reported by Zig Fracassi that the Bills were aggressively looking to move up in the draft.
Trades are the hardest thing to predict in the draft. We saw the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles agree to trade, including 9 draft picks that came out of nowhere. If the Bills were to trade up, it would likely be on draft day with a specific player in mind.
Even though rumors are swirling in this mock draft, we will refrain from trades because they are difficult to emulate. Instead, we will pick with all eight of the Buffalo Bills’ draft picks. As you may recall, there was nine draft picks in our last mock draft. The Bills’ second seventh round pick was traded to the Cleveland Browns for quarterback Case Keenum, who presumably will be Josh Allen’s backup in 2022.
I used The Draft Networks Mock Draft Machine for this mock draft, which you can find here.
