Buffalo Bills Draft Target: Devonte Wyatt

Thanks to a tantalizing Combine performance – and an amazing 40 time – defensive tackle Jordan Davis may be unfortunately out of the Bills’ reach at pick no. 25. Davis’ biggest asset is his dominance in the run game, which would be a huge benefit for the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills struggled at times with their run defense last year, especially in games against Tennesee, Indianapolis, and New England. But if even they can’t draft Davis, there is another former Bulldog that Buffalo can snag for their defensive line.

While he isn’t nearly as athletic as Davis is, Devonte Wyatt is still a well-rounded prospect with outstanding strength and effort. His specialty is single-gap penetration, as he possesses the lateral quickness and burst needed to beat his blocker and make a play.

He can maneuver with ease inside, being flexible enough to slip through the edge. While strong, Wyatt ends to struggle with double coverage as his power is fairly average.
