Buffalo Bills Draft Target: Treylon Burks

While the Buffalo Bills signed veteran Jamison Crowder, it wouldn’t hurt to add another receiver to the fray. Enter Treylon Burks – a big-bodied receiver who would pose as a matchup nightmare for most opposing cornerbacks.

Burks can move very fast for a receiver of his size, with his body control allowing him to mismatch any corner lined up against him. As evidenced by his low drop rate at Arkansas, his hards are strong as he can make difficult catches and win 50/50 balls. And when it comes to running after the catch, Burks has the speed to take off – with a few stiff-arm moves in his repertoire to boot.

Even with his combination of size and speed, Burks is seen as a huge boom-or-bust draft prospect. His underwhelming Combine performance certainly didn’t do him any favors. But if placed in the right offensive system, Burks can prove himself as an offensive force to be reckoned with.
