Buffalo Bills Draft Target: Breece Hall

The Buffalo Bills attempted to sign running back J.D. McKissic, only for McKissic to return to the Washington Commanders on a two-year deal. If the Bills are still interested in adding to their running back committee past the recent signing of Duke Johnson, it wouldn’t hurt to do so in the first round.

Granted, drafting running backs in the first round seems taboo these days, but there is one back who has the potential to hear his name called on Day 1.

Breece Hall is considered by most scouts to be the best running back in his class, and for good reason. He has the necessary size for a high-volume back, while also being able to play all three downs. He also exhibits good vision and patience – always waiting to find the open lane – and he isn’t so shabby in the passing game either with his soft hands.

There might be some wear and tear on Hall’s tires (800 carries over three years at Iowa State), but this former Cyclone might have enough juice in the tank for the next level.
