3 quarterbacks that could use a ‘reset’ with the Buffalo Bills in 2022

Another quarterback who was traded last offseason but could be looking for a new team this year is Carson Wentz. The former first round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles was traded to the Indianapolis Colts.
At times last year, Wentz looked like that starting-caliber quarterback that he showed earlier in his career. However, an inexcusable collapse against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the final week of the regular season has seemingly forced the Colts to have some serious questions.
According to Ian Rapoport on The Pat McAfee Show, the Colts are looking at other quarterbacks and trying to improve at that position.

If the Colts are able to add another quarterback, and can’t find a trade partner for Wentz then it would make sense for them to release him. While it would result in $15 million in dead cap, it would also create over $13 million in cap space according to Spotrac.
