Buffalo Bills Position of Need: Wide Receiver

The Buffalo Bills are well set at the top of the depth chart with Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Diggs but after these two is where the questions start to arise. Cole Beasley is entering the final year of his contract and is someone that could be cut or asked to restructure his contract this offseason.

The Bills also have Emmanuel Sanders and Isaiah McKenzie set to be free agents and it remains to be seen if one or both are back.

The wide receiver position is not like the defensive end position where they need a top receiver but instead need to find a player to address a specific need for this offense. That need is a player who can rack up yards after the catch and pressure opposing defenses downfield with great speed.

This past season, Buffalo finished last in the NFL in yards after the catch with an average of only 4.2 yards. The focus is going to be on finding that speedy wide receiver that can make big plays down the field and this is something that may come in the NFL Draft.
