When the New England Patriots do pass the ball, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them come into this game with a plan to target Dane Jackson. The second-year cornerback took over for Tre’Davious White at the end of November after the former All-Pro corner suffered a season-ending knee injury.

Since becoming the starter, Jackson has played well but when looking at this secondary there is no question that this is the part to attack. In the first matchup between these two teams, the Patriots only threw the ball three times with two of those attempts in the direction of Jackson.

Then in the second game, Jackson was targeted five times and allowed four completions for 50 yards. The goal for the Patriots will be to lean on the run but when they do have to throw they are likely going to look towards the inexperienced cornerback a lot. Dane Jackson should have plenty of opportunities to make impact plays on Saturday night
