One of the reasons the Buffalo Bills finished the regular season on a four-game win streak was because of the play of running back Devin Singletary. In his third year in the NFL, Singletary would finish with 870 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns but 323 of those rushing yards and six of those rushing touchdowns came in just the final four games.

Singletary has helped bring some balance to the Bills’ offense that has forced opposing defenses to account for the run and not just sit back to defend the passing game.

In the two games against the Patriots, Singletary hasn’t been able to pick up many yards on the ground with only 75 rushing yards. However, he was a bigger part of the passing attack in their second matchup with five receptions for 39 yards in that game.

The Patriots struggled against the run last week against the Miami Dolphins, allowing 195 rushing yards. This could be an opportunity for Buffalo to get the run game going early.
