Buffalo Bills RB Matt Breida

Another player who did well this season in limited opportunities is running back Matt Breida. If Brian Daboll’s new team needs help at running back or just overall speed on that side of the ball, Breida could make sense as a player they would target.

The Buffalo Bills signed Breida this offseason to a one-year deal for that very reason. They already had Devin Singletary and Zack Moss but neither have that breakaway speed, which Breida certainly does have.

The veteran didn’t play much until Week 10 and over the next three games, he averaged 57.3 yards from scrimmage on only 7.6 touches per game. He also found the end zone three times over those three games. This would likely be a low-risk free agent deal that could be very valuable over the course of Brian Daboll’s first season with a new team.
