CBS Sports: Buffalo Bills back in the Top 5 after Week 17

Current Week’s Ranking: 4

Last Week’s Ranking: 6

This week, Pete Prisco had the Buffalo Bills moving up two spots to fourth overall but as Prisco notes, the game wasn’t as easy as the final score would indicate.

"It took them a while to get rolling against the Falcons, but they did so in the second half. If they beat the Jets this week, they win the AFC East."

This week against the Atlanta Falcons, the Buffalo Bills actually got off to a fast start with two touchdowns in the first quarter. However, interceptions by Josh Allen allowed the Falcons to get back into the game and take a 15-14 lead into halftime.

The Bills were able to make adjustments, most notably being giving Devin Singletary the ball, and Buffalo was able to run away from the Falcons. This was a week that Josh Allen did not have his best game throwing the ball but the run game, combined with their defense, was able to help them pull away in the second half.
