This was going to be a pivotal year for Ed Oliver as he tried to meet the potential the team saw when they selected him in the Top 10 in the 2019 NFL Draft. He has certainly done that and played very well on the interior of the defensive line.
This week, Oliver has a chance to make a big impact as the Falcons have struggled to slow down defensive tackles from getting to Matt Ryan. In the past four games, Ryan has been sacked 11 times with five of those sacks coming from defensive tackles with two each from Ndamukong Suh and Vita and one last week by Alim McNeil.

Meanwhile, Oliver is coming off one of his best pass-rushing games against the New England Patriots as he recorded a sack and two QB hits. This is a great chance for Oliver to continue that momentum from last week and make a big impact against the Atlanta Falcons.
