NFL.com: Buffalo Bills move up only one spot

Current Week’s Ranking: 9

Last Week’s Ranking: 10

While the Buffalo Bills was also ranked 10th last week in the power rankings on NFL.com, they didn’t move up as much as they did in CBS Sports. The Bills moved up only one spot to ninth overall in Dan Hanzus’ power rankings.

"The Bills took care of business on Sunday in Orchard Park, beating up on a depleted Panthers team in a 31-14 win that snapped a two-game losing streak. Josh Allen showed no ill effects from the sprained foot suffered in Week 14’s loss to the Bucs, and Gabriel Davis continued his upward climb with two touchdowns and 85 yards receiving."

As Dan Hanzus notes, the Buffalo Bills did what they needed to by getting a win over a team they should beat. This has been one of the bigger talking points around this team in that outside of the Jacksonville Jaguars, they have beaten the teams they are supposed to. However, they don’t have any quality wins, outside of the win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

A win on Sunday against the New England Patriots could help erase some of that narrative.
