CBS Sports: Buffalo Bills move up three spots after Week 15 win

Current Week’s Ranking: 7

Last Week’s Ranking: 10

After the loss to the Patriots, the Bills were ranked seventh before dropping three more spots to 10th after their Week 14 loss to the Bucs. The Bills jumped back up to seventh after their win over the Carolina Panthers but Pete Prisco notes just how important this weekend’s rematch with the Patriots is.

"They beat up the Panthers, but their division-winning hopes will be decided by this week’s game at New England. Lose, and it’s a wild-card road."

The Buffalo Bills have not given themselves much room for error after going 4-5 over their past nine games and the playoff implications are significant in Week 16. If the Bills hope to win their second consecutive division title, they have to win in New England on Sunday.

Both teams would have 9-6 records but the Bills would have the division record tiebreaker as they would only have one loss among AFC East opponents, with the Patriots having two with a Week 1 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
