Buffalo Bills Bold Prediction #2: Greg Rousseau registers his first career sack

One of the bright spots this preseason was first round draft pick Greg Rousseau. When the Bills drafted him 30th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, he was considered a pretty big unknown. The former University of Miami defensive end had a great year in 2019 but that was really his only season of production after opting out last year.

Rousseau has all the physical tools to be an excellent pass rusher but the question was how long before that would all come together. However, it was evident during the preseason that teams are going to have trouble with his length and he could make a big impact as a rookie.

Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers have concerns at offensive tackle with the loss of Zach Banner and being forced to shuffle the offensive line to replace him. This is a part of the field that the Bills should have an advantage.

The Buffalo Bills have plenty of defensive ends this year to rotate through and Rousseau may not have many snaps but I believe he will make the most of them and come away with a sack in his first career regular season game.
