Buffalo Bills Bold Prediction #3: Josh Allen throws for less than 250 yards
One of the reasons that the Buffalo Bills are a legitimate Super Bowl contender is their quarterback, Josh Allen. He had an incredible season last year, one that ended with him being runner up in the MVP race, and he looked even better in the half of football he played in the preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.
In this offense, Josh Allen is expected to have some incredible games and will likely finish near the top of the league in passing yards and total touchdowns. However, this first week could be tough and I believe Josh Allen throws for under 250 yards.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have an excellent defense and players like Joe Haden and Minkah Fitzpatrick makes it tough on opposing quarterback. These two combined with T.J. Watt, who is an excellent pass rusher, doesn’t give quarterbacks much room to be successful.
Last year, Josh Allen averaged 284 passing yards per game and he likely will be higher than that this season. However, Week 1 will be a week where he doesn’t reach that mark.
