Week 4: Houston Texans at Buffalo Bills

The last time the Buffalo Bills played the Houston Texans was in the 2019 season when the Texans came back to beat the Bills in overtime of the Wild Card Game. However, this team is very different from that version with a new head coach, DeAndre Hopkins and J.J. Watt in Arizona, and DeShaun Watson looking like he will not be playing for them this year.

This means the Bills are likely to see another former starting quarterback in Tyrod Taylor but this is a game on paper that Buffalo should win fairly easily. The biggest unknown is whether they overlook the Texans with Kansas City on the schedule next week in a primetime game.

I believe they stay focused on the task at hand and move to 4-0 for the second straight year.

Prediction: Win (4-0)

Week 5: Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday Night Football)

One of the highlights of the 2021 schedule is the Buffalo Bills playing the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. These are two of the best teams in the AFC and are expected to compete for the top seed in the conference and a trip to the Super Bowl later in the year.

The Bills are returning to the place that their season ended last year and hope the improvements on their defensive line can make a difference. The Bucs showed the way to slow the Chiefs down is getting pressure on Patrick Mahomes.

However, the Chiefs saw this too and significantly invested in their offensive line with additions like Orlando Brown, Joe Thuney, Creed Humphrey, and Kyle Long. This will be a close game and the Chiefs get the edge to hand the Bills their first loss of the season.

Prediction: Loss (4-1)
