Week 2: Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins

The Buffalo Bills hit the road in the second week of the season as they take on AFC East rival, Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins were a surprise last year winning 10 games and coming up just short of making the playoffs.

They hope that the success will continue into this season and have added a number of weapons for Tua Tagovailoa in his second season. They used a Top 10 pick on Jaylen Waddle and this will be the first game with Will Fuller, who has to serve the remainder of his suspension from 2020 in Week 1.

However, Josh Allen has played very well against the Dolphins and as a starter is 5-1 in his career with 20 total touchdowns and four interceptions. This is another game that the Bills can’t overlook but they should be able to come away with the win on the road.

Prediction: Win (2-0)

Week 3: Washington Football Team at Buffalo Bills

When looking at the Buffalo Bills first four games, this is in my opinion the toughest on the schedule. The storylines will be plentiful here as Ryan Fitzpatrick returns to Buffalo along with Sean McDermott facing Ron Rivera, who he coached alongside for a number of years in Carolina.

The key to this game though is going to be in the trenches as Washington has one of the best defensive lines, led by former second overall pick Chase Young. If they are able to get pressure on Josh Allen, and they certainly have the talent to do so, this could come down to the final drive. I believe this game is a coin flip and I give the Bills the edge being at home.

Prediction: Win (3-0)
