Marquez Stevenson

In the first preseason game, Marquez Stevenson showed what he could do as a wide receiver with a 42-yard reception late in the game. However, if Stevenson is going to make the 53-man roster as a rookie, he will likely need to win the return job for the Bills.

In the game against the Chicago Bears, he showed he is more than capable of doing that with a 79-yard punt return for a touchdown. He also had one kickoff return that went 26 yards.

The competition for that starting job is going to come down to Isaiah McKenzie and Stevenson with McKenzie likely the favorite. Unfortunately, for Stevenson it remains to be seen if he will have the chance to make another statement in the Bills final preseason game against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday.

In the game against the Bears, Stevenson suffered a foot/ankle injury and while the x-rays were negative, Sal Capaccio of WGR550 tweeted that he was in a walking boot.
