Quarterback (2)

Josh Allen, Mitchell Trubisky

Cuts: Davis Webb, Jake Fromm

For now, the quarterback room stays the same as the last prediction. Allen and Trubisky are firmly entrenched into starter and backup. Davis Webb and Jake Fromm both had fantastic games and if they continue this level of play in the preseason the Bills may have to consider keeping one as a third quarterback if they had instead planned to stash them on the practice squad.

Webb was efficient and showed some athleticism with a couple of strong runs. While Fromm was up and down he made some throws that helped answer some questions about his arm strength as well as leading the game-winning drive that included a fantastic 42-yard strike to rookie Marquez Stevenson.

Right now Buffalo has a great starter and one of the best backups in the league. How they handle Webb and Fromm will be interesting. For now, Buffalo hangs onto only two guys to use the extra roster spot somewhere else.
