Number 2: Tre’Davious White

Cap Hit: $6,782,000

Rank among cornerbacks: 20th

The next two players are on this list due to the Buffalo Bills restructuring their deals this offseason but based on these guidelines, they need to be on this list. At number two is cornerback Tre’Davious White, who has been the team’s top cornerback since they drafted him in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Over the first three years with the Bills, White also proved to be one of the best at his position and tied for the league lead in interceptions with six in 2019. He was rewarded with a four-year deal worth $69 million. The reason the cap hit is as low as it is was because the Bills converted his salary to a bonus in March to free up additional cap space.

These are dollars that are going to have to be paid and White’s cap hit is going to be above $15 million for the next four years after this season. This will almost certainly be the last year, Tre’Davious White makes a list like this.
