AFC East Offensive Grades: Buffalo Bills offense still class of division
Offensive Line
New England Patriots: 1
Buffalo Bills: 2
New York Jets: 3
Miami Dolphins: 4
New England added to an already strong offensive line this offseason by re-acquiring tackle Trent Brown after he spent two seasons with the Raiders organization. Buffalo’s offensive line is unchanged entering this season, as Mitch Morse restructured his contract which helped bring back both guard Cody Ford and tackle Daryl Williams.
The Jets added to their O-line in free agency by spending big on center Connor McGovern, while also using the draft to select guard Alijah Vera-Tucker in the first round. Miami’s offensive line, which struggled and was very inexperienced last year, will largely return the same.
The Dolphins did use its second-round selection to take Notre Dame tackle Liam Eichenberg, who the team likely hopes will emerge as a solid blindside protector for lefty Tua Tagovailoa.
