The Buffalo Bills kick off their regular season in just under seven weeks. As the regular season approaches, fans of every NFL team begin to wonder who will make their team’s 53-man roster.

Bills fans are no different, and predicting who makes the roster will be a difficult thing to do given the depth that the Bills have all over the roster. Considering that roster projections are a complete guessing game, it is impossible to tell how many players the Bills will keep at certain positions.

In this projection, the number of players kept for each position will be based on what the Bills did in 2020.

In 2020, the Bills initially kept three quarterbacks, five running backs, six receivers, three tight ends, ten offensive linemen, nine defensive linemen, six linebackers, eight defensive backs, and three special teams specialists.

The only deviation from that number will be that the Bills will use one of the running back spots for a defensive back, making it four running backs and nine defensive backs.

Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane will have some tough decisions to make on cut day, but it is worth taking a look at what the Week 1 roster could look like.
