Can Marquez Stevenson be the team’s starting kick/punt returner?

The Buffalo Bills lost Andre Roberts in free agency and they are now trying to find out who will be their starting kick and punt returner for 2021. The most likely candidate is Isaiah McKenzie, who looked good as a punt returner in the regular season finale, but Marquez Stevenson has experience as a returner and should compete.

At the University of Houston,  Stevenson primarily was more of a kickoff returner with 34 career returns during college. However, he also had three punt returns during that time as well.

The Buffalo Bills have been fortunate in that Roberts has handled both return duties and they will likely look for a player who can do that. If Stevenson can prove he is ready to be the starting punt returner, he could end up with both jobs at the start of the regular season.
