The greatest Buffalo Bills player to wear #46:

Keith Moody had a lot of duties during his time with the Bills, playing DB and handling return duties. His defensive career was unimpressive, with all three of his career interceptions in his rookie season in 1976. Where the 10th-round pick made his money was in the return game.

Moody scored a punt return touchdown in each of his first three years and had at least 600 yards on kickoff returns each year as well. Moody would earn a ring with the Oakland Raiders in 1980 when they won Super Bowl XV.

Moody beat out Leonard Smith who has 8 picks to Moody’s 3, but the return abilities are what gives him the edge to take the title. Moody had 5 kids by the age of 23 and managed to make the roster, but he performed enough to support his family. Moody is a member of Syracuse’s hall of fame.
