The all red uniforms of the Buffalo Bills are a popular uniform set amongst the Bills faithful, and the week(s) in which they wear them is always highly anticipated.
Predicting when the Bills will wear their red alternates or any of their uniform sets for that matter, is harder than a lot of other teams. Some teams reveal their uniform schedules before the season starts, others reveal them on a week to week basis; the Bills fall into the latter category.
The Bills introduced the all red uniforms as a part of the NFL’s Color Rush series, making their debut in the disastrous Thursday Night Football game against the New York Jets that was a major struggle for people who have red-green colorblindness.
Buffalo has worn the all red set seven times over the last six seasons, usually once per season outside of 2019, where they wore them twice.
Early on in their life (and once in 2019), the Bills wore their all red uniforms at various points in the season, wearing them in Week 10 in 2015, Week 2 in 2016, and Week 7 in 2019. As of late, the all reds are usually worn in the final four weeks of the season, being worn in Weeks 14, 15, 14, and 14 in 2017-2020 respectively.
Given the recent trend of when they wear the red uniforms, the safe bet would be in any of their home games after Week 12.
The most likely game in which they will be worn is in the Week 15 matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Carolina Panthers. This game has a chance to be flexed to a Saturday afternoon/night game, and seems like the perfect spot for the Bills to showcase their all-red threads.
There is a chance that the Bills could wear their all red uniforms twice in 2021, in both an early home game, and a late home game; however, the most likely and sensible game to wear the all reds is against Carolina in Week 15.
