The Buffalo Bills offense had a breakout season with the addition of Stefon Diggs and the development of Josh Allen. This group would finish second in the NFL in total offensive yards per game (396.4), third in passing yards per game (288.8), 20th in rushing yards per game (107.7), and second in points per game (31.3).

This season the Buffalo Bills once again are set up to have an explosive offense with the only departure on the starting lineup being wide receiver John Brown. However, the team was able to sign veteran Emmanuel Sanders on a one-year deal to fill that role.

These are three reasons the Buffalo Bills should remain a Top 5 offense this season starting with the player under center.

Josh Allen

Last year, Josh Allen had a breakout season after continuing to improve every season since his rookie year. This year that improvement was drastic as the Bills quarterback would throw for 4,544 passing yards, 37 passing touchdowns, 10 interceptions while completing 69.2% of his passes.

He still remained a threat on the ground with 421 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns.

There is no question that Josh Allen was a big reason, if not the biggest, for the Buffalo Bills offense becoming a Top 5 offense last year. He will once again be the primary driver for this offense remaining in that top tier this season.
