Cornerback (5)

The cornerback position is another one that the coaching staff could go in a number of directions with the final roster spot. At this point, the top of the depth chart feels locked in with White, Wallace, Jackson, and Johnson.

That final spot is the one where there is going to be a great training camp battle between Cam Lewis, Richard Wildgoose (who was a sixth round pick this year), Siran Neal, as well as Nick McCloud, and Olaijah Griffin who were undrafted free agent signings this offseason.

At this point, Lewis gets the spot because of his ability to play outside but also inside. At one point last season, Cam Lewis started over Taron Johnson but didn’t hold onto the job due to injury. It wouldn’t be surprising to see any of the other players listed but right now Lewis should be the favorite.
