Tight Ends Coach: Rob Boras

Rob Boras came to Buffalo in 2017 with McDermott and has been the tight ends coach his entire tenure. Boras has been a coach for seventeen years and has coached some very notable tight ends.

Under Boras players such as Greg Olson and Mercedes Lewis have reached their potential. Boras has not been able to coach any elite-level tight ends for Buffalo but does have several tight ends on the roster who have big potential. Dawson Knox is a player that Boras directly works with all the time and if Dawson Knox can have a breakout year for Buffalo Boras should be given tons of credit.

One area where Boras excels as a coach is teaching blocking in tight ends. Buffalo’s tight ends throughout McDermotts have always been above average blockers for the position.
