Can any of the UDFA the Bills signed make the Roster?

Buffalo Bills UDFA #2: Nick McCloud (CB, Notre Dame/NC State) 6-0, 193 lbs.

Nick McCloud joins Griffin in the cornerback room as a UDFA. McCloud played 30 games at NC State and added 11 more as a grad transfer at Notre Dame. McCloud is a decent size for the professional game and has a solid all-around skill set with no large weaknesses but no large strengths.

Not afraid to hit, McCloud was 4th on NC State his junior year in tackles and showed that same nose for the ball at Notre Dame where he totaled 33 tackles including a four (4) tackle and 2 FR performance in an upset over then #1 Clemson. For more on McCloud check out his UDFA player profile.

Take everything that was said about Griffin and the state of the cornerback position and apply it here. McCloud has an uphill battle to make the roster. McCloud is the least likely to make the team if you look at the list of corners signed to Buffalo. Not only will he have to outplay fellow rookie corners but he also will have to play well enough to take out guys like Dane Jackson or Siran Neal who have a strong but brief history in Leslie Frazier’s defense.
