Buffalo Bills: Final thoughts on 2021 schedule order
Buffalo Bills potential 2021 schedule, weeks 13-18
Week 13
How do you follow up playing Tom Brady and the Buccaneers? Play his former team the next week on the road. Will Mac Jones be playing by this time?
Week 14
Week 15
The worst team in the league comes north to face Buffalo in a game in which the Bills could rest their starters and give their backups some playing time to make up for the fact that the NFL won’t give them another bye week with the additional game added in to the mix.
Sam Darnold returns to face off against Josh Allen, this time in a different uniform and a much improved offense around him. Don’t take the Panthers as some warm-weather team that will lie down, they took Green Bay to the limit in 2019 in the snow at Lambeau (pictured above).
Week 16
This could be one of other games that the Bills want revenge for, as it was arguably their worst showing last year, getting trounced 42-16. The Derrick Henry stiff-arm on Josh Norman is unfortunately going to be replayed over and over leading up into this game. It’s up to the front seven of the defense to stop King Henry before he gets going.
Week 17
Atlanta visits a day after Christmas, and this could be a snow-bowl like game. Playoff seeding and standings will get interesting here, as there’s only one team who gets a bye. Atlanta has fought hard late in the season, including an improbable comeback against the 49ers a few years ago, and also were a Younghoe Koo field goal away from going into overtime against the Chiefs.
Week 18
It began with the Jets, and the regular season will end with the Jets. If the Buffalo Bills don’t have the number one seed, then this game cannot be taken lightly, as seeding can change everything in the playoffs.
